Samuel S. Smith reminiscences, [1949-1950].

Smith recounts his boyhood in Worthington (Minn.); his experiences in Minneapolis (1895-1901) as an employee of merchant tailor Joseph H. Thompson and in St. Paul (ca. 1898-1899) as a partner in a bicycle shop; his marriage (1902) to Blanche Petrie; his organization (1903) and operation (until ca. 1917 or later) of the Smith Implement Company in Worthington; and his Worthington law practice. He also provides information on Nobles County pioneers, farm life, and the Smith, Stelle, and Petrie families.
